    We provide a continental breakfast hamper which includes fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, muesli, home made bread, butter/jams and fruit juice. 

    Please advise in advance if Gluten Free is required and also if any food allergies.


     

     

     

    Evening Dining Options

    Dining out

    The Bay House is located 15 kms from Westport, where there are many evening dining options to choose from. Closer is Donaldo’s Café/Restaurant at Carter’s Beach (13 kms) and closer again just 3kms up the road at Cape Foulwind is the local pub the Star Tavern which is very popular over the summer.  It's best to book a day in advance!

    Self Catering / Outdoor Gas BBQ Facility on Main Deck

    Each Suite & Studio has small kitchen facilities which include induction top & microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, toaster & tea/coffee facilities. Please note that cooking of fatty meats eg. fatty lamb, steak or pork, fish and hot/spicy foods is not permitted in the Studios & Suites. This is due to long lasting odours which are difficult to eliminate and making it impossible to accept guests/bookings over the following days. We do have an outdoor gas BBQ on the main deck for you to use if you wish to cook such types of foods/meals during your stay.  

    Room Service Meals - available May to October

    Room service meals are offered from May to October at $40 per meal, delivered to your room between 6pm & 6.30pm.  Please note we usually require 3 days notice for Room Service Dinners and will need to know of any food allergies and/or dietary requirements.  (Subject to availability, we are able to on occasion offer room service meals during our peak season November to April. Please enquire in advance via email.)

    Room Service Dinner Options include:

    • Rosemary, garlic & chilli chicken thighs (boneless) with pan jus, kumara & potato chips, wok tossed vegetables or salad 
    • Lightly Beer Battered Snapper or Gurnard with potato chips, seasonal salad, house tartare sauce & lemon wedge 
    • Fillet steak on Portobello mushroom topped with Cafe De Paris butter, served with wok tossed vegetables or salad, and potato & kumara chips 
    • Roasted Eggplant stuffed with medley of vegetables, topped cashew nuts, goat feta & parmesan cheese served with side salad
