If you’ve booked the Inclusive (Breakfast) Rate, a continental breakfast is included with your stay.
Please let us know if you require gluten-free options or have any other dietary needs.
Breakfast is served in the Bay House communal lounge between 8:15am – 10:00am, or if you prefer, a breakfast hamper can be delivered to your room the evening before so you can enjoy it at your own pace the next morning.
Continental breakfast includes: fruit juice, espresso coffee, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, muesli & granola, homemade bread, butter, cheese & preserves.

The Bay House is just 15 km from Westport, where you’ll find a wide range of evening dining options. Closer to home, the popular classic local Star Tavern on Lighthouse Road is just 4kms from our accommodation and provides lunch and evening meals. Self-Catering / Outdoor Gas BBQ Facility on Main Deck
Each Suite and Studio includes convenient kitchen facilities with an induction cooktop, microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, toaster, and tea/coffee-making amenities.
To ensure a fresh and pleasant environment for all guests, cooking fatty meats (such as lamb, steak, or pork), fish, or hot/spicy dishes is not permitted indoors, as these can leave strong, lingering odours that are difficult to remove.
If you’d like to prepare these types of meals during your stay, you’re welcome to use the outdoor gas BBQ located on the main deck.
Room Service Meals - available March to November
Shoulder season we offer room service dinners at $35 to 40 per meal, delivered to your room between 6:00pm and 7pm. We generally require at least 3 days notice and ask that you advise us of any food allergies or dietary requirements when booking.
During our peak season (December to February), room service meals may be available on a limited basis - please email us in advance to enquire.
Room Service Dinner Options include:
- Rosemary, garlic & chilli chicken thighs (boneless) with pan jus, potato & kumara chips, wok tossed vegetables or salad $35
- Premium Fish - Lightly Beer Battered Snapper or Gurnard with potato & kumara chips, seasonal salad, house tartare sauce & lemon wedge $35
- Fillet steak on Portobello Mushroom topped with Café De Paris butter, served with wok-tossed vegetables or salad, kumara chips $40
- Roasted Eggplant stuffed with a medley of vegetables, topped with cashew nuts, goat feta, & parmesan cheese, served with a side salad $35
